Student technicians and assistants:

AAH is excited to facilitate the next generation of veterinary professionals in a positive, educational and hands-on setting. They receive first-hand experience alongside our doctors and technicians observing surgeries and procedures as well as assisting in pre-op and post-op care of patients, restraint, sample collection, in-hospital treatment and care and various types of lab work. Whether you are a student starting your career path in veterinary medicine or are looking for a part time position to pursue your interest in the field, we urge you to take a look at our job descriptions and fill out an application. We are always eager to teach and train the right candidate. Our ideal candidate is someone excited to learn that has a positive attitude and enjoys a team setting! 

We are proud to say that many of our previous students and technician assistants have gone on to be successful, well-regarded and trusted technicians as well as veterinarians themselves! As hard as it has been to see them go, we are currently cheering on 3 of our very own as they pursue their degrees as Doctors of Veterinary Medicine at various different vet-schools across the country and abroad! We could not be prouder of them!
